Church History Time

I was able to join my parents and take my kids to Carthage Jail and visit the Church History sites up there. I can't begin to explain how awesome of an experience it was. I have heard the stories, but until you are actually there, standing in the jail, listening to the story of how our prophet Joseph Smith was murdered, as you are overcome with the spirit, you really don't have an understanding of what actually happened there. I was fortunate enough to see this for myself. It was a very powerful, moving experience that I will never forget.
