Two years ago we got Charlee this V-Tech kids Camera for Christmas. She has managed to take exactly 753 pictures with it. I forgot that I could upload these pictures to my computer until this week when she couldn't take any more because the memory was full. So, I just uploaded all 753 to my computer and had a blast sifting through these wonderful shots. Most of which were carpet, ceiling, walls, and parts of things I couldn't even identify. Besides the fact that this is a HIGH quality, expensive camera I can see Charlee being a real photographer, just like her aunt Carly someday. Here are a few of the prize worthy shots.

Legoland Insanity
February 19, 2012
Ok kids, this is for you. Remember this event through pictures and memories because unless the population of Chicago decreases by 90% we will NOT be going back here anytime soon.
On the "Dragon Ride". Van was totally spooked the entire time. This is the second go around. He held his mother and bawled the first time.

Happy Valentine's Day
February 14, 2012
What would Valentine's Day be without sugar cookies right? We were so glad to have Olivia and Mary McDavitt over to help us make sugar cookies today. They are two of the cutest girls in our ward. Olivia babysits for us frequently and Mary, her younger sister is always such a big help too. We tripled the recipe and made more than enough cookies for everyone. We didn't even hardly make a mess...

Happy Birthday Mr. Van
January 10, 2012
Happy Birthday little man. I love, love, LOVE you. You are growing so big. I can't believe you are already two! Where has the time gone? You are definitely a "mama's boy". There is not a morning that doesn't go by that we don't spend at least 5-10 minutes snuggling and hugging. You run to my room every morning saying "Hug! Hug! Kiss...". You are seriously that most lovable little guy.
You and Charlee are getting along so well lately. You'll spend hours running and playing around the house. You love everything that your sister does. If she has it, you want it. If she doesn't want it, you don't want it. Even though you are younger you have already proven that you are BIG brother. You can hold your own now in a fight between you and sister. It's a pretty even match now.
Everywhere we go people comment on your hair. They'll say "Oh my, his hair is so WHITE!" Or, "Where did he get his white hair?!" I have to tell them that you didn't get it from your mother. That's all thanks to handsome Daddy!
Your vocabulary isn't too expansive yet, but you can say a few simple phrases and every once in a while surprise us with a funny expression. Just the other day you said "Hey, hey dude." Your little voice saying "dude" was adorable. You are trying to count... not exactly in order, but I have heard you say all of the numbers 1-10.
I'm fairly certain I've made you out to be a little angel up until this point, and I don't want to give anyone the wrong impression :) You have your moments Van, where you are VERY stubborn and just plain naughty. Just yesterday you decided to fling an entire yogurt cup all over the carpet, you reminded me of a painter that was throwing paint on his canvas, except that canvas was the entire carpet. Just earlier this week you did the same thing with the little crushed up, bottom of the bag, pieces of Frosted Mini Wheat Cereal. You decided it would be fun to throw handful after handful over the couch, coffee table and carpet. Now that little episode reminded me of someone throwing rice at a wedding. When you do things like this Charlee takes a minute to remind me that she is the good child. She'll run up to me and say very matter of fact,"Van is being naughty. I'm not being naughty, I'm being good. I'm a big girl."
I can't wait to see how much you change over the next year. But for a lot of reasons I wish you could stay like this forever. Your mama loves you Van! Happy Birthday.
Naughty
Nice
